As a professional opera singer, I spend the majority of each year away from home. With luggage, camera, and scores in hand, I take off to different parts of the world to make music. The rewards are great, but the sacrifices are many. Each destination affords me the opportunity to create a new home and find joy in life's simple pleasures. With this blog, I hope to create a daily reminder that with travel you always take away more than you arrived with, but the most important of these things can't be put in a suitcase.
